’70s Show’ actor Danny Masterson on trial on 3 rape charges
Masterson, 53, faces up to 99 years in prison if convicted of rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual abuse, according to police.
The actor’s attorney, Marc Rosenblum, told the San Diego Union-Tribune that his client was “horrified by what happened.”
In an email, the actress said, “This is clearly a case about a man who is innocent and who is the victim of a witch hunt. As a woman and a victim of sexual assault, I feel it’s important for you to understand what this case is about and why. The reality is that this is a case about lies, a case about victim-blaming and a case about a man who is not guilty.”
