Former France star opens up about alleged sexual abuse accusations

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has vowed to seek legal action against France Football over claims of sexual abuse dating back to his teenage years.

The 28-year-old striker claims that a string of boys abused him during his time playing for Paris St-Germain, and that the club failed to act.

His claims come after UEFA last month launched an investigation into claims that a member of the Paris Saint-Germain youth team was involved in a separate sexual abuse scandal but has not been arrested by French police.

The striker is now seeking compensation from PSG and France Football, claiming he was the victim of abuse over a four-year period.

He says he has evidence of other boys being abused on a ‘regular basis’ and alleges the club knew about the problem but failed to act to protect him.
