Every burned town is tragic. But Newsom needs to lead with science, not sentiment and fear. The fact that an entire town was destroyed proves that some type of natural disaster is to blame.
On Monday the National Weather Service sent a tweet stating that they were putting out a fire in Paradise that they first thought was an “arson.”
“Multiple houses reported to burning in Paradise. Please be advised.”
